Unauthorized usage any of his images IS THEFT, and ofcourse is against the law.

Every unique image created by an artist, is his own Intellectual Property immediately upon it's creation, without any registration, the art (and all the rights associated with it) belongs to him

Although Copyright registration is not mandatory (the copyright belongs to the artist as soon as the artwork is created) however, every image created by Octavio Ocampo is properly registered with the copyright competent authorities internationally (Genev Convention).

It allows the artist or their representative to sue the infringing party not only to cease and desist the infringement, but also allows the copyright holder (the artist) to recover monetary compensation for damages.

Please, before buying anything containing any image from Octavio Ocampo, check out if the seller has permission to reproduce his artwork (applies for every kind of media and articles such as posters, painting reproductions, clothing, DVD's, games, cups, even books)
